Iron Sky. Not quite as much fun as the concept sounds (In 1945 the NAZIs fled Earth and set up camp on the dark side of the moon. In 2018 they come back), but there’s still plenty to enjoy here. When the satire is on-mark it’s really on-mark (the Sarah-Palin-as-President concept goes a lot darker than I was expecting), while other ideas miss the target completely (I just didn’t get the Palin character’s henchwoman at all). But the main enjoyment for me was from the effects and the strong sense of design throughout, and the multitude of creativity thrown into the mix. Not all the ideas work, but there’s a definite A for effort for everyone involved.
