Kid Loki inspi sketch because the new Young Avengers just came out this week.
I have to say in my opinion the writing is a little shaky for the first issue but I just love the Young Avengers characters and Kid Loki is in it so Ima stick to it. But so far that Marvel reboot I feel is pretty strong because mmhmm Avengers Arena. Me gusta.
You know what I also me gusta? The peplum shape, I know I’m kinda late on the trend but I think it is a very universal and flattering form for plenty different shaped bodies.Side notes (aka ranting) , I’m changing my URL pretty soon. I’ve been using that username for a long long time. I want change to something similar to my name and something I could stick to in the future.
I finally securely moved into my house and I finally got a roommate! She’s super nice and her artwork is great, you should check it out. Good bye ronery days. Haha I wasn’t really lonely, I had my cat with me.A lot of unexpectedly stroke of terribly bad luck (no one really expects it hah) has been hitting me lately. You know it’s always troubling but I’m thankful I have really great friends and people who help me out and support me through it. Going on tumblr and seeing people still like this blog even though I’ve been hardly active has been great for me to see. So like always thanks guys for all your support, likes, and messages.

next month at the San Diego Comic Con, this B&W painting of Loki, Thori and Leah will be up for auction for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. I believe it’s gonna be sold on site but will also be on their website. If anyone is interested in trying a coloring of the piece, please help yourself. This is the HD link. I have to say that so far these are some of my all time fave pictures from the con I have seen.
Sadly though I do have to say R.I.P Plush Thor…. On Sunday around closing time of Metrocon , Thor was lost to me. He was in the backpack of a friend’s with his little head sticking out. We do not know what happened to him . He had on my button I bought from Daunt that said #I need a bucket to carry all of these feels. It was on his little belt.
:( Bye Thor! Maybe you will return to me ( If I am lucky)
Other than that sad news! Metrocon was truly a blast. ! I had such a wonderful time and met so many wonderful people ! Everyone who I met ! You guys were so great and just made that con so wonderful for me.

A Compendium of Cool Comics Cosplay: December 9th
Over on Gamma Squad there’s my regular Friday comic book cosplay feature, spotlighting the best superhero (and villain) related costuming from the cosplay community. We’re casting the spotlight onto those cosplayers who we think deserve special recognition for coming up with the best costumes, whatever the budget, and the photographers who capture them for posterity.
Gamma Squad is committed to giving a voice to the cosplay community that thrives in groups like TheSuperheroCostumingForum.com. Each week we spotlight our favorite costumes and each month we host a cosplay contest. We’ll be picking a theme for each month and inviting cosplayers, costumers and photographers to submit related pictures of their work to our Flickr group to be considered. We’ll then pick our top choices and post them on Gamma Squad for the adoration of all.
